The Respiratory Therapy Program at FranU invites applications for a 12-month faculty position at the instructor level with responsibilities in laboratory and clinical instruction. These responsibilities include lab and clinical settings; provides and/or coordinates clinical teaching activities in the hospital/clinical setting to include student assignments, clinical supervision of students and student evaluations; and other duties consistent with the role of an instructor.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or a related field.
- Graduate of a CoARC accredited respiratory care program, Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential and current Louisiana license.
- Four years experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least two years of clinical experience working as a Respiratory Therapist in a critical care area, AND Two years of experience teaching in an accredited respiratory care program either as an appointed faculty member or as a clinical preceptor.
- AHA-BLS Certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master鈥檚 Degree in Respiratory Care
