The CRS Student Ambassadors under Campus Ministry spearheaded across campus and in the community the campaign to bring awareness of the issue of Human Trafficking in the 1-10 corridor and in the world. The advocacy across campus was presented at various campus events through a fundraising drive for the Metanoia Manor, a local, undisclosed safe house for victims, managed by the Hospitalier Sisters. Through the sales of an art work designed by Emily Walker, president of Franciscan Fellowship and chair of CRS Student Amabassadors along with the president of Catholic College Student Association president, Viktoriia Leigh raised $2,000 to donate to the Manor. The funds were presented to Fr. Jeff Bayhi, founder of the Manor at one of the four Agape Dinners, which brought the campus community together to dialogue on the issue.
