ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ proudly announces its recent recognition at the 2025 EdSights PERSIST Summit, held October 19–21 in Dallas, TX. Representing the University at the event were Dr. Aubry Turner, Director of Academic Support Services, and Esther Penns, Dean of Students, who joined higher education leaders from across the country to explore innovative strategies for student success and retention.

During the summit’s award ceremony, FranU was honored with the prestigious Student Voice Score Award for 4-Year Private Institutions. This accolade is part of EdSights’ national initiative to elevate student perspectives in shaping institutional practices. The SVS campaign, conducted annually, measures student satisfaction through a combination of quantitative scoring and qualitative feedback. Scores range from -100 to 100, offering a comprehensive snapshot of how students perceive their University experience.

FranU achieved an impressive SVS of 66 for 2025, significantly surpassing the national average of 22 by 44 points. This score reflects the University’s deep commitment to fostering a supportive, engaging, and academically enriching environment. Student feedback praised FranU’s strong sense of community, the quality of academic programs, and the dedication of professors and staff who go above and beyond to support student success.

The PERSIST Summit brought together thought leaders in higher education to share best practices, data-driven insights, and emerging technologies aimed at improving student retention and engagement. FranU’s recognition at the summit underscores its leadership in these areas and its ongoing efforts to listen to and act on the voices of its students.

As FranU continues to grow and innovate, the University remains steadfast in its mission to provide a transformative educational experience rooted in Franciscan values and a culture of care.
