These talks address a pressing question in medicine and ethics: how death is defined, particularly in relation to organ transplantation. Dr. DeCock argues for more accurate standards in determining total brain death, making this an important opportunity for students, healthcare professionals and community members to engage with a national voice on an issue that has real implications for healthcare, policy and ministry.
Both lectures will take place in St. Francis Hall, 5414 Brittany Drive, Baton Rouge, and are free and open to the public. Attendees are asked to RSVP
